JENKS, Oklahoma -- A 13-year-old Jenks student told News On 6 she's been bullied for the past three weeks, and it finally came to a head when three girls threatened to attack her like 9/11 all over again.

The girl said she finally decided to tell her mom how bad the harassment was when the bullying was caught on tape. She says they called her and she and her cousin recorded it.

Madison is a Jenks middle schooler and says the very girls who harassed her, used to be her friends. She says everything changed when a boy they liked, started liking her. She says they cussed at her, called her names and wouldn't let up.

"The first week of this, they were following me, surrounded me, saying we'll fight you if you want to. I didn't want to fight, it was stupid. They wanted something out of me. I don't know," Madison said.

She says she tried to ignore it, but spent nights crying and didn't want to go to school. She says she didn't tell her mom or a teacher because she hoped it would go away. But, that changed after the phone call.

She says she and her cousin were at the Jenks Riverwalk with the boy and they posted pictures and that's when the girls called and she recorded it.

The audio tape is hard to understand, but it says in part:

"I wouldn't recommend riding the bus Monday. The bus isn't going to work out for you. It's going to be like 9/11 all over again. F—king 9/11… I'm not kidding. It's going to be a terrorist attack on you b---h!"

That's when she did tell her mom.

"I was just sickened that kids, the thought they have that much hate toward a little girl," said, Madison's mom, Amanda.

Amanda says the three girls were suspended, but she wishes they would've also been kept off Madison's bus. The school did confirm the incident happened. As for punishment, they said only that it was swift and appropriate.

Madison says one girl is already back at school and the other two will be on Monday, but she's less worried now that the school knows.

She has this advice for others.

"Just to have self confidence in yourself, not to listen to what they say and go tell somebody if you need too. Remember, what they say doesn't matter, it's what you think," she said.

An attorney for the parents of the three girls found out News On 6 was airing the story and called. He says there are two sides to every story and claims Madison and her mother have been doing the harassing for weeks, but they're turning the other cheek.
