Escapees From Tecumseh Juvenile Center Spotted, One In Custody

Pottawatomie County sheriff's deputies were searching for three juveniles walked away from the Central Oklahoma Juvenile Center about 9:45 p.m. Sunday.

TECUMSEH, Oklahoma -- Three juveniles who walked away from the Central Oklahoma Juvenile Center about 9:45 p.m. Sunday were spotted Monday morning by an employee of the facility. One juvenile is in custody.

Pottawatomie County sheriff's deputies and Tecumseh Police officers are still looking for the other two juveniles. They have narrowed their search down to a five block by five block radius.

The escapees were described as black males wearing khaki or gray pants, possibly sweat pants.  Two were last seen wearing purple shirts, one was wearing an orange shirt. One was 17 years old, 6' tall weighing 155 pounds.  The second escapee was 15 years old, 5'-9" tall, weighing 130 pounds.  The third escapee was 15 years old, 5'-9" tall, weighing 160 pounds.  He has "God Is Love" tattooed on his left arm and "LT" tattooed on his right arm.

One of the juveniles was from the Oklahoma County area and the other two were from Tulsa.

Beasley said he does not know if they are armed.  They are being held for first-degree burglary and armed robbery.  All three are affiliated with gangs.

Pottawatomie County Sheriff Mike Booth said the escapees have had time to change clothes and are likely to be seeking a telephone with which to contact others.
