OKLAHOMA CITY -- The Oklahoma State Cowboys were flat dominant against the Kansas Jayhawks, scoring 56 of their 70 points in the first two quarters of the game.

Offensively, the Cowboys had no trouble moving the ball. OSU seemingly scored at will when their first team was in, scoring on seven consecutive drives between the first and second quarters. The Cowboys finished the day with 600 total offensive yards, while Brandon Weeden completed all but four of his passes for 288 yards and five scores.

The Cowboys surrendered a touchdown to the Jayhawks on their opening drive, but put the clamps on after that. Oklahoma State forced three first-half turnovers from quarterback Jordan Webb and most of KU's points came against the second team.

However, the Jayhawks did block a punt, ending Oklahoma State's streak of nearly flawless special teams play. Quinn Sharp was lights out on punting, averaging more than 57 yards per punt and hitting of his PAT attempts.
