TULSA, Oklahoma -- Police say a 25-year-old Tulsa man is in jail after he robbed an Arvest Bank branch Sunday afternoon.
Tulsa Police say Joseph Womble walked up to a teller at the bank branch inside the Walmart at 81st and Lewis shortly 1 p.m.
Officers say he handed a teller a note stating he had a gun and wanted money.
They say Womble took the money and ran out of the store.
About 10 minutes later, officers found him walking out of a nearby motel and took him into custody.
He was booked into the Tulsa County jail on a complaint of robbery by force and fear.
Bond is set at $100,000. No one was injured during the bank robbery.
