TULSA, Oklahoma -- Tulsa Police are looking for a group of men who broke into a home and assaulted and robbed a family early Monday morning.

The incident happened in the 1000 block of North Madison Place shortly before 1:45 a.m.

The residents of the home told officers that three to five men entered the home, assaulted the mother and daughter then took jewelry, money and several electronic items.

Tulsa Police say the thieves then stole the family's vehicle, a gray four-door 2000 Jeep Cherokee with Oklahoma license plate 654-GCW.

The only information about the robbers is that they all wore dark-colored clothing and covered their faces.

The mother and daughter were taken to a Tulsa hospital.
