TULSA, Oklahoma -- Monday's summer-like weather conditions will give way to fall as a cold front moves into northeastern Oklahoma this afternoon and evening.

News On 6 meteorologist Alan Crone says as the cold front gets near, gusty north winds along with a chance for thunderstorms that have the potential to become severe will move quickly west to east.

The good news is the storms could result in a quarter to a half an inch of rainfall in isolated locations.

Crone says once the storms move out of Oklahoma, colder temperatures will be the norm for the next couple of days.

Highs Tuesday through Wednesday will be in the low 60s with morning lows in the 40s.  The lows on Thursday will be in the 30s.
