KONAWA, Oklahoma – On Wednesday, October 19, agents with the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation served a search warrant on a former police chief accused of sharing images of child pornography.

OSBI agents and the Oklahoma Highway Patrol arrived at the home of 47-year-old Bradley Evan Morgan at 5 a.m. Morgan once worked as the police chief of Konawa in Seminole County, but resigned in June 2010.

The Missouri Highway Patrol says Morgan shared child pornography with internet crimes investigators in September. They then contacted OSBI's Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force. An agent with the task force then began investigating Morgan and says, once again, the former police chief shared pornographic images of children.

OSBI obtained a search warrant for Morgan's home. Because the suspect is a former police chief and still works in law enforcement, OSBI requested OHP's tactical team enter the home first and make it safe for investigators.

Agents seized several pieces of computer equipment from Morgan's house. They will examine the equipment and search for more illegal images.

Morgan was booked into the Seminole County Jail on complaints of possession and distribution of child pornography, and violation of the Oklahoma computer crimes act.
