TULSA, Oklahoma -- A Tulsa organization is looking for donations Saturday of computers and related electronic equipment so they can be recycled as gifts for indigent children and disabled adults over the upcoming holidays.

Every year, PC Power takes older computers, monitors and other related equipment to be refurbished.

For those considering not donating, PC Power suggests not tossing those items in the trash because new strict environmental standards are putting new limitations of what can end up in a landfill.

The only thing PC Power asks if you donate a CRT or non-flat screen monitor [see picture to the right], please give a $1 when accompanied by a computer CPU/tower.

The PC Power event is Saturday, October 22, 2011 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 5719 East 13th Street in Tulsa.
