TULSA, Oklahoma -- A man was stabbed in the back with a screwdriver following an altercation overnight Saturday in Tulsa. Two groups of people were gathered in two separate parking lots near 44th and Memorial when the argument broke out, according to Tulsa Police Corporal R.W. Solomon.
At about 12:30 a.m., three men who were with a group in the parking lot outside a sports fan shop went over to the group outside a Sonic.
During the confrontation, one of the men involved fired a shot into the air. Another man pulled out a screwdriver and stabbed a victim in the back.
The victim was taken to the hospital where he is expected to recover. Tulsa police are looking for a suspect they described as a young Asian male. Both groups took off after the stabbing, Solomon said.
