TULSA, Oklahoma – The Tulsa 66ers drafted a total of 10 players Thursday, including former Oklahoma State point guard Byron Eaton.

The 66ers had two picks in the first round, which they used on Curtis Sumpter and Gary Johnson. They picked Eaton with the 75th overall pick and their seventh of the day.

Sumpter played overseas in Greece last season. He also was part of the U.S. team at the 2011 Pan American Games, which won a bronze medal under 66ers head coach Nate Tibbetts.

"We are pleased with the outcome of tonight's NBA D-League draft," said Paul Rivers, Thunder Director of Minor League Operations and Basketball Technology. "We are looking forward to welcoming these 10 individuals to training camp of our development program in Tulsa starting next week."

With the NBA currently in a lockout, D-League affiliate teams were not allowed to draft anyone who played in the NBA last season. However, they could select recent college graduates and players who had been out of the league for more than a year.

The 66ers' draft selections

Curtis Sumpter – 11th overall selection
Gary Johnson – 16
Dwight Buycks – 22
Brady Morningstar – 34
Evan Field – 43
Rico Cunningham – 54
Byron Eaton – 75
Brian Barkdoll – 86
Maze Stallworth – 107
Xavier Alexander – 118
