A Washington County Judge sentenced a Bartlesville man to life in prison Monday morning for a fatal shooting on December 31, 2010.

Kyle Eulitt, 24, was convicted of first degree murder in the shooting death of Ronald Watts in September 2011.

During his trial, Eulitt said he shot Watts after they exchanged words outside of an apartment complex in the 800 block of East 8th Street in Bartlesville.

The judge followed the jury's recommendation.
