Monday night's storms dumped much-needed rain across Oklahoma, but the nasty weather also caused damage from floods and high winds across the metro.

At N. Western Avenue and Danforth Road in Edmond, the floodwaters receded and left behind a damaged car. The inside was caked with mud and a log sat on top of the passenger's seat. Broken tree limbs were also scattered across several streets.

Tow trucks were out in full force across the metro, hauling away flood-damaged cars. County clean-up crews also patrolled streets, cleaning up debris.

In the Edmond area near Covell Road and N. MacArthur Boulevard, the floods stranded nearly a dozen cows. Kenneth Ringer said he lost at least one of his black Angus in the high water. He planned to rescue the rest of his cattle as soon as the water receded and it was safe to do so.
