Aftershock Shakes Central Oklahoma Wednesday

Posted: Updated:
OKLAHOMA CITY -

Residents near Prague were awakened not by the sound of alarm clocks, but by the earth shaking Wednesday morning.

A small aftershock shook the area at 6:08 a.m. The magnitude 3.0 earthquake was centered northwest of Prague, about 16 miles north northeast of Shawnee.

Although the earthquake rattled residents, it did not cause any damage.  A record-setting 5.6 magnitude quake shook Oklahoma Saturday, November 5, causing significant damage to several homes near the epicenter.
