No. 7 Berryhill continued to get it done on defense, dropping Sequoyah-Tahlequah 20-6 in the opening round of the playoffs, the fifth time this season the Chiefs allowed seven points or fewer.
After a scoreless first quarter, Berryhill took a 6-0 lead into halftime. The Indians struck in the third quarter, on a Brayden Scott quarterback sneak. Sequoyah-Tahlequah missed on the PAT and the game remained tied with 7:26 left in the quarter.
However, the Chiefs scored 14 unanswered points to put the game away and advance to the second round.
Berryhill will travel to Beggs to take on the Demons, who are coming off of a 43-7 win over Idabel.
