STILLWATER, Oklahoma – Fans in Gallagher-Iba Arena have seen some thrilling finishes over the years, but rarely do they come in a game that Oklahoma State isn't playing in.

UTSA stole the show with a running 3-pointer at the buzzer to push the Roadrunners past Oral Roberts 78-77 Tuesday night in Stillwater.

Texas-San Antonio actually trailed the Golden Eagles by 15 points at the half before completing a 23-point swing, leading by eight points with four minutes to play.

But ORU reversed the fortunes and mounted its own comeback. Dominique Morrison was able to convert on a baseline jumper with just more than 30 seconds left to give his team a 76-75 lead.

After getting the ball back, the Golden Eagles started receiving fouls, but couldn't convert them when it counted the most.

Guard Warren Niles missed a pair and forward Steven Roundtree followed it up by hitting only 1-of-2, leaving ORU up two with 4.6 seconds left.

Roadrunner guard Sei Paye threw up a prayer at the buzzer that found its way in.

Roundtree finished with 22 points for the Golden Eagles, tying for game-high honors with UTSA's Kannon Burrage, who came off the bench to match that amount.

Niles added 20 for ORU.

Both teams were incredibly efficient from the floor, with Oral Roberts shooting 50 percent and UTSA hitting 55 percent of its shots.

ORU will face Arkansas-Pine Bluff Wednesday at 9:30 for the second round of the NIT Season Tip-Off, while UTSA will take on OSU prior to that game.
