CBS News announced Tuesday afternoon that will have a new CBS Morning Show starting in early January 2012.

CBS says the new show, which launches January 9, 2012 will replace the network's current morning program, "The Early Show," and will focus on bringing the style and reporting of shows like 60 Minutes to the morning time slot from 8 a.m. until 10 a.m. on News On 6.

The program will be hosted by Charlie Rose, Erica Hill and Gayle King.

"We will produce a broadcast that is interesting, compelling and on top of the big stories of the day. It will be lively and engaging and worth your while," said 60 Minutes Executive Producer Jeff Fager.

Rose has hosted his nightly interview program, "Charlie Rose," on PBS since 1991.

King has hosted "The Gayle King Show," a live, weekday television interview program on OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network since January 10, 2011 and Hill has served as co-anchor of CBS News' "The Early Show" since January 2011.
