STILLWATER, Oklahoma – After Tuesday's heartbreaking buzzer beater loss, ORU wanted to make sure it didn't happen again.

And one of the best ways to do that is to go ahead and win by 36.

The Golden Eagles bounced back from a tough defeat the night before with a 80-44 win against Arkansas-Pine Bluff on Wednesday at Gallagher-Iba Arena.

ORU left no doubt about this game from the get-go, jumping out to a 10-2 lead and never looking back.

The Golden Eagles led by 18 at halftime before lead by as many as 42 late in the game.

ORU pressured Arkansas-Pine Bluff into 20 turnovers and also won the rebounding advantage 31-18. The Golden Eagles also got the job done offensively, shooting 53 percent from the field.

Dominique Morrison and Warren Niles shared game-high honors with 19 apiece, and Michael Craion added 17 points and eight boards for ORU.

Oral Roberts picked up its first win of the year, moving to 1-2.

It will hit the court again against Austin Peay on Nov. 19 for the first true home game of the season. Tipoff for that contest is set for 7:05 p.m.
