Two More Earthquakes Recorded In Central Oklahoma

The U.S. Geological Survey has recorded two more earthquakes that struck central Oklahoma early Friday morning.

The U.S. Geological Survey has recorded two more earthquakes that struck central Oklahoma early Friday morning.

Officials said a 2.6 magnitude earthquake was recorded just after midnight. The epicenter was two miles south of Jones, four miles north, northeast of Nicoma Park, four miles north, northwest of Choctaw, and 14 miles east, northeast of Oklahoma City. It was about three miles deep.

Another 2.7 magnitude earthquake was recorded at 1:41 a.m. Friday. Officials said its epicenter was four miles northwest of Prague, seven miles southeast of Sparks, nine miles east, northeast of Meeker, and 44 miles of Oklahoma City. It was about two miles deep.

No injuries or damage were reported in these earthquakes.
