TULSA, Oklahoma – Broken Arrow advanced to the 6A semifinals and the Pryor Tigers moved on in 5A as SkyNews6 flew over all the action on Friday.

The Broken Arrow Tigers were eliminated from last year's playoffs by the Lawton Wolverines, but got their revenge on Friday with a 47-7 blowout.

Broken Arrow scored on its first two possessions on its way to a 27-0 halftime lead.

Running back Devon Thomas topped the 200-yard mark and had three touchdowns for the Tigers.

Lawton finished the season at 9-3 while Broken Arrow (11-1) will advance to take on No. 6 Owasso in the semifinals. That game will take place on Friday at 7:30 at Muskogee High School.

Meanwhile in 5A, the Ardmore Tigers took down the Pryor Tigers 14-7 to advance to the semifinals.

Ardmore jumped out to a 14-0 lead and was looking for a shutout, but Pryor was able to respond late.

Pryor scored with about four minutes to play, then had an opportunity to tie the game jump into its lap.

An attempted Ardmore punt went awry when the snapper sent a bad snap back toward the Ardmore goal, result in the Pryor Tigers gaining possession on the 9-yard-line with four chances to tie the game.

But the Ardmore defense stood strong, stuffing them in four straight attempts to seal the win.

Ardmore advances to the semifinals against MacArthur, whom they will face on Saturday at 1 p.m. at Yukon High School.
