Tulsa Police: License Tag Number Helps Nab Sunday Bank Robbery Suspect

A Tulsa woman suspected of robbing a bank Sunday afternoon is in the Tulsa County jail on a complaint of first degree robbery by force and fear.

A Tulsa woman suspected of robbing a bank Sunday afternoon is in the Tulsa County jail on a complaint of first degree robbery by force and fear.

Tulsa Police arrested 29-year-old Meco Mohamed at her residence after tracking down her vehicle about an hour after the robbery at the Bank of Oklahoma inside the Reasor's at 18th and Yale.

Jail reports state a witness saw the suspect get into a blue Jeep in the store's parking lot.

Police traced the Jeep's license tag to a residence in the 4400 block of East Woodrow Place.

A bank employee told officers the female robber had a red cherry tattoo on her neck.  When the woman matching the suspect's description left the residence, officers placed her under arrest.

Bank employees identified Mohamed in a police lineup.

Mohamed's bond is set at $50,000.

No one was hurt in the robbery.
