Tulsa Police arrested a 30-year-old man after he led them on a high-speed chase early Thursday morning that ended in a front yard.
It all started at 12:15 a.m. when police tried to stop a car on North Birmingham.
The driver, identified as Sugar John Thomas, didn't stop and led officers on a short chase before striking a tree at Columbia Place and Newton.
Tulsa Police arrested Thomas. They say a search of his car turned up what they believe were several bags of drugs.
He was booked into the Tulsa County jail on a number of complaints including possession of a stolen auto and possession of a controlled and dangerous substance.
Thomas also had 11 outstanding warrants.
