My Bedlam prediction

Sure, I'll chime in.

Bedlam is tomorrow and it has never been so BIG. OSU fans will say it's a shame it's not BIGGER, with BCS title games on the line. It's not because of one clumsy effort in Ames. It's also not as BIG as it could be because Oklahoma has wet the bed twice this year. Somehow they choked away an easy would-be win against Texas Tech at home. Then, just two weeks ago, goofed up on the road against Baylor.

This Bedlam game COULD HAVE BEEN HUGE.

Instead, it's just KINDA big. The national spotlight is off of this game but, locally, it's still Bedlam. The winner is the Big 12 champion. That's reason enough to play. If OSU wins, there is an outside shot at a national title appearance. (Don't hold your breath, although I think they should be in if they win vs. OU)

I was very confident about Oklahoma State's chances last year against the Sooners. Much more so than I am about the Pokes' chances this season. That's odd to me since I feel like last year's Sooners team was better than this year's Sooners team.

Last year's game was the most amazing, jaw-dropping, edge of your seat, thrilling end to a football game that I have ever seen in person. While making my way from the press box to the field in the fourth quarter, I MISSED three scores! It was such a great final four minutes.

This year's game could go any way and I would not be surprised. If OSU wins by 1, okay. If OU wins with a late field goal, I buy that outcome, too. If either team wins by 30, that may not even be that much of a surprise.

THAT IS BEDLAM! I will say Oklahoma State pulls it off this year and ends the 8-year losing streak to the Sooners. Give me, 36-24 for a final score. It's going to be fun. I expect BIG games from Brandon Weeden and Joseph Randle. I think Blake Bell will score twice.

I think OSU ends up in the Fiesta Bowl. I think OU ends up in the Alamo Bowl. Basically, flip flop the Bedlam results from last year and flip flop the bowl destinations from last year. Should be a fun night in Stillwater.
