Oklahoma State No. 3, OU No. 19 In Newest Polls

The Oklahoma State Cowboys are the No. 3 team in the nation according to the newly released USA Today and AP Polls.

The Cowboys convincing 44-10 victory over rival Oklahoma moved OSU up from No. 5 but wasn't enough to jump in front of Alabama who is still listed as the No. 2 team in all three polls.

Alabama tallied 1399 votes to OSU's 1267 in the Coaches poll, a difference of 32 votes. The Pokes claimed 17 second place votes this week with the other 42 going to the Tide.

In the AP Poll Alabama received 38 second place votes and a total of 1,418 points to Oklahoma State's 22 second place votes and 1,400 points meaning 22 voters switched their second place votes from Alabama to OSU for this week.

LSU remains the No. 1 team in the nation, as well as the only undefeated team.

The loss for the Sooners dropped them from No. 11 in the Coaches Poll and No. 13 in the AP Poll down to the No. 19 spot.
