NORMAN, Oklahoma -- The Sooners took a lead less than four minutes into the game and wouldn't give it up, coming away with a 78-63 win over the Arkansas Razorbacks Saturday, expanding their win streak to three games.

The Razorbacks opened the game with a three-point play, but a Tyler Neal three-pointer at 17:41tied the game 4-4. Sam Grooms hit a layup a minute later to take a 6-4 lead and OU would never trail again.

That sparked up an 18-5 run, 13 coming from Andrew Fitzgerald, that spanned more than six minutes to give the Sooners a 24-9 lead nearly halfway through the first half. The 15-point lead would essentially hold for the rest of the game.

Arkansas would cut it close in the early moments of the second half, scoring seven consecutive and cutting the lead to 41-35 with 15:21. However, the Sooners would slowly build their lead back up and close the game out.

Steven Pledger lead the Sooners in scoring with 22 points, while Fitzgerald scored 17 and grabbed eight boards in the win and Tyler Neal notched 18, grabbed five boards and dished out four assists in the win.

B.J. Young led the charge for Arkansas, with 24 points in his 32 minutes coming off of the bench, while Mardracus Wade scored 11, the second-highest total for the Razorbacks.

Next for the Sooners is a Saturday-night matchup against the Houston Cougars in the All-College Classic at the Chesapeake Energy Arena.
