HARRAH, Oklahoma -- Lights and Sirens escort Santa Claus through a neighborhood, bringing Christmas to very sick five year old.

The Harrah Police Department pulls out all the stops to make sure one of their own celebrates Christmas. We first introduced you to 5-year-old Logan Luka who is terminally ill. The Harrah Police made him an honorary police officer and on Saturday, they delivered Christmas two weeks early.

Two dozen police officers, sheriff's deputies and Marines bring Christmas to the Lukas a couple of week early.

"United States Marine Corps showed up today, members from the Harrah Police Department, Jones Police Department, Choctaw, Oklahoma County Sheriff's Office, Spencer Police Department is represented. Everybody showed up and brought presents that they had donated, their individual agencies and their officers," Officer Phil Stewart said.

It was a glimpse of happiness for 5-year-old Logan's family. Lately his condition changes from day to day.

"There's no guarantee we'll make it to Christmas," Logan's mother, Christie Luka said.

For Christie and Andy, days like Saturday keep them going.

"So to be able to celebrate all of this with him now and know that he gets enjoyment out of it, it just fills your heart with joy," Christie said.

But Saturday night will probably be a long night for the Lukas, Christie said all the happiness and stimulation drains Logan's energy.

"To see him smile and be able to experience everything, Santa Claus and everybody here who just adores him. That makes a really long night pretty easy," Christie said.

"It is overwhelming. We're eternally grateful for what everybody's done and for all the help we've received. You know we just try to take it one day at a time," Andy said.

And on top of all the gifts that officers donated Saturday, the family received a $2,000 check for the Logan Luka Medical Benefit Fund. The family said they can't thank everyone enough.

And if you want to help the Luka family during the holidays, call Harrah Police Officer Phil Stewart at (405)-921-5356.
