Tulsa Shooting Suspect May Have Carjacked Motorist Near McAlester

Tulsa Police fear a man wanted in Tulsa's 52nd homicide of the year that resulted in his estranged wife's death may have carjacked a good Samaritan Wednesday evening near McAlester.

Police say 40-year-old Terencio Turcios shot a 43-year-old Victoria Turcios Wednesday at 3:33 p.m. in the 1200 Block of East 63rd Street. She was taken to a Tulsa hospital where she later died.

Tulsa Police got a tip that Terencio may have fled to Glenpool.   At 3:50 p.m. Glenpool Police responded to a shooting in their city.  It is believed that Terencio is the suspect in this shooting. 

Glenpool Police say the shooting suspect, believed to be Terencio Turcios fled in a 1993 white Nissan pickup truck.

The pickup truck was recovered at 7:30 p.m. on the Indian Nations Turnpike near McAlester. The truck was parked abandoned on the side of the road.

Tulsa Police fear that someone attempted to help get Turcios' truck unstuck and may now be a victim of a carjacking.

Police asking anyone in the McAlester area that has an overdue motorist to contact the local Police Department or TPD Homicide at 918-798-8477.

Turcios is described as a Hispanic male with black hair in a pony tail. He is around 5'7" tall and weighs between 180 and 200 pounds.

Tulsa Police have released a picture of Turcios.  They note the picture was taken ten years old.
