OKLAHOMA CITY - Lisa Meehan has been waiting for this day for two months. She's finally furnishing her new home, a day she thought might never come.

"I got a little loaned table and lamp, just the bare necessities and the lovely blow up mattresses that we're sleeping on," Meehan told us last October.

At the time, Meehan and her three children were living out of suitcases. They just moved back to Oklahoma from Amarillo, but her truck load of furniture and family mementoes never arrived.

"They notified me they had gone out of business and they didn't know where my items were," Meehan said.

The company she trusted to move her things was Eagle Van Lines out of Texas. The Consumer Watch Team did some extensive digging and eventually traced Meehan's things to a U-Haul storage facility near Houston.

"My contact with Amanda Taylor and Consumer Watch prompted corporate with U-Haul to take some action," Meehan said.

Meehan just returned from Houston where she was finally able to pick up most of her stuff.

"I had to search through three different storage facilities," she said. "Nothing was marked. Everything was thrown."

While some things were broken or missing, the memories she thought she'd never see again are now home.

Meehan's friends told her, "This is a picture of your son. This is why we're here."

"Going through this wasn't great, but if it helps somebody else then I think that is what it's all about," Meehan said. "It's a happy ending."

A big thanks to U-haul who went above and beyond, reuniting Lisa with her things and even helping her move them home.
