Tulsa fire investigators arrested a Tulsa man Saturday for manufacturing methamphetamines as they canvassed the 5th and Madison area looking into a series of arsons.

Authorities were asking James Scott Dillon, 30, if he'd seen anything suspicious in the area when they noticed a chemical odor, according to Public Information Officer Stan May.

They discovered a "one-pot method" meth lab in Dillon's backpack.

May said anyone who sees any suspicious activity in the area should call 918-596-ARSN (2776).
