A 43-year-old Tulsa man is in the county jail on a complaint of stealing copper wire from a vacant home after Tulsa Police officers found him hanging out of a hole in the ceiling.

Police were sent to the home on East 50th Street North Thursday morning on a report of larceny inside the home.

As officers were walking up to the front door, they heard someone making noise inside. When they entered, they say Rodney Coleman's legs dangling from the ceiling.

In jail documents, Tulsa Police say they caught Coleman stripping copper wire inside the home.

Coleman was arrested on complaints of larceny from a home and possession of stolen copper wire.  His bond is set at $7,000.

Police say they estimate Coleman had taken more than $200 in copper wire from the home.

He is scheduled for a December 30, 2011 court hearing.
