Jay Man Arrested For Shooting His Girlfriend In The Head During A Fight

Jay Police arrested a 37-year-old man wanted in connection with a shooting in their community Tuesday morning. 

The shooting happened at a home in Jay. 

Police say the shooting stemmed from a domestic incident inside the home.  Police say Donald Tolliver shot Vicky King in the head during an argument.   

Jay Police say the shooting took place in front of several children in the home.

Donald Tolliver was taken into custody without incident at 10:23 a.m. Tuesday, according to the Jay Police Department. They anticipate booking him on a complaint of shooting with intent to kill, News On 6 was told.

The victim, Vicky King was taken to a Grove hospital.  She has since been taken to a Tulsa hospital.

There is no word on her condition.
