COLLEGE STATION, Texas – Even a big winning streak coming into the game wasn't enough to boost the Sooners against the 9th-ranked Aggies on Sunday.

OU dropped a 75-58 road contest to Texas A&M on the road, snapping a six-game winning streak dating back to Dec. 11 of 2011.

Oklahoma dropped its first conference game, falling to 1-1 in Big 12 play (9-4 overall).

The Sooners held a halftime lead of 31-28, but fell apart a bit in the second half.

OU turned the ball over 13 times in the second half and was outrebounded 22-9 in the period.

Aaryn Ellenberg led the Sooners with 18 points. Whitney Hand added 17 points and six assists and Sharane Campbell had 11 points. Both Ellenberg and Hand surpassed the 800 career point mark in the game.

The Aggies did not hit a 3-pointer in the game, going 0-for-7. Meanwhile, the Sooners set season lows in both 3-pointers made (three) and 3-pointers attempted (10).

A&M (10-3, 1-1) outrebounded OU 38-28 and forced 23 Sooners turnovers.

While Oklahoma had its six game winning streak snapped, Texas A&M continued a streak of its own, picking up the sixth-straight win against the Sooners.

OU will look to bounce back with a game against undefeated and 13th-ranked Texas Tech on Wednesday. Tipoff for the game is set for 7 p.m. at the Lloyd Noble Center.
