Explorer Pipeline Buries Time Capsule At Glenpool Tank Farm

An oil company is wrapping up its 40th anniversary activities by burying a time capsule in Oklahoma.

Explorer Pipeline buried the capsule Tuesday at their Glenpool Tank Farm. The company did the same thing 20 years ago and opened it this year. They say it was so much fun, they wanted to do it again.

Employees put predictions about the world, pictures, news items and pieces of equipment inside.

They plan to unearth the capsule in 20 years, at their 60th celebration.

Explorer Pipeline transports fuel to more than 70 population centers in 16 states.
