Big changes are in store for all of eastern Oklahoma as a strong cold front arrives in the state Wednesday evening.
News On 6 meteorologist Michael Grogan says strong northwest winds and a chance for light snow are in the forecast. Temperatures may only fall into the 20's Wednesday night and Thursday morning, but winds will be gusting to nearly 40 mph, so the important number to watch will be the wind chill values.

There is also a chance some of the snow Wednesday evening and early Thursday will accumulate north and east of the Tulsa area.
Grogan suggests everyone break out your heavy coat for Thursday morning.
