Oklahoma Quality Jobs Program Helps 5 Tulsa Firms To Add Jobs

The Oklahoma Department of Commerce says that 614 new jobs will be created by five Tulsa area companies accepted into the Oklahoma Quality Jobs Program in December.

The Oklahoma Department of Commerce says that 614 new jobs will be created by five Tulsa area companies accepted into the Oklahoma Quality Jobs Program in December 2011.

The five companies include NBI Services, Avery Barron Industries, Fintube, Tulsa Winch in Jenks, Limco Airepair and Airgas-Mid South.

Their maximum benefits amount totals $13,236,915.

Avery Barron Industries opened its doors in July of 2010. Booming business has propelled the metal fabrication shop to expand from its one employee at start-up to 50 employees at its two locations.

Limco Airepair is located at 5304 South Lawton and began operations more than 15 years ago.

To qualify for the quality jobs program, a company must be a central administrative office, manufacturer, research and development, or a listed service company with 75 percent of total sales to out-of-state customers.

The Oklahoma Department of Commerce says most companies must achieve a $2.5 million taxable payroll for any four consecutive quarters during the first 12 quarters in the program.
