Emergency personnel responded to a single-car wreck in Tulsa Friday morning they say was caused by the driver's medical condition.
Tulsa Police say that a 72-year-old woman had a heart attack while driving, and the car then hit a tree in a neighborhood near 56th and Sheridan.
Police say paramedics arrived quickly and began performing CPR. They woman had a slight pulse as she was transported, the officer said.
The wreck took place shortly before 11 a.m. She was taken to a local hospital in critical condition, according to Captain Chris Stevens of EMSA.
