Driver Arrested After Monday Morning Tulsa Police Chase

A short police chase just after 6 a.m. Monday ended with a crash, a foot pursuit and an arrest.

Police officers were checking out a car parked in the intersection of 91st and Memorial, when the startled driver promptly drove off.

Police chased the car until it crashed into a utility pole at 78th and Mingo.

After the crash, the unidentified driver took off on foot, but was caught in the back yard of a nearby home where Tulsa Police arrested him.
