The Kansas Jayhawks ended the Oklahoma State women's team it first home loss of the season Wednesday in a 65-60 victory over the Cowgirls.

Tiffany Bias helped Oklahoma State (10-4, 2-3) back from a double-figure hole, but the overall shooting by the Cowgirls in the second half doomed them against the Jayhawks.

After trailing for most of the first half, Bias hit a runner in the lane with 12 seconds left and stole the ensuing inbound pass and laid it in to end the first half with OSU trailing 33-27.

OSU narrowed the gap to two points early on in the second half, but KU responded with 10 of the game's next 12 points to extend their lead.

OSU mounted one final run, getting a jumper from junior Lindsey Keller to draw within one at 56-55 with 3:38 remaining before KU countered with seven points in a row.

Bias later drilled a long three-point basket to make it 63-60 with 11 seconds remaining, but the Jayhawks tacked on a pair of free throws to end the contest.

The Jayhawks improved to 15-2 and 4-1 and were led by Carolyn Davis who tallied 18 points. Aishah Sutherland finished with 15 points and a staggering 22 rebounds on the night.

Bias led Oklahoma State with 18 points. Toni Young came off the bench to score 12 points while Liz Donohoe, added 10 points.

OSU returns to the hardwood Saturday, Jan. 21 on the road against Missouri at 4 p.m.
