Two Tulsa Zoo residents are back home and in a new home.

Sea lions Dorsey and Briney have spent the last two years in Oklahoma City while a new exhibit was being built in Tulsa.

The new Helmerich Sea Lion Cove will allow Tulsa Zoo visitors to get a close up look at the sea lions. There is a 30-foot long tunnel to walk through, a waterfall and new beach areas.

"The pool is about 100,000 gallons. It's a saltwater pool, it has its own life support building," said Kaleigh Jablonski, sea lion trainer.

"They are absolutely excited. You can tell when they're out here that everything is new for them, everything is exciting, just like for us. When things are new, new environment we get excited, we get to investigating all the little things, they're doing the same things," said Kaleigh Jablonski, sea lion trainer.

The Tulsa Zoo still needs to add some shipwreck props, signs, and bleachers for shows before they open the new exhibit in mid-March.
