Metoyer and McNamara join previously announced junior college transfers Kass Everett, Brannon Green and Chaz Nelson along with 2011 signee Jordan Wade on campus for the Sooner spring semester.

The new additions bring some much needed talent to positions like tight end which were depleted greatly throughout the season and with graduation.

McNamera, a native of San Diego, is listed as a four-star recruit as well as ranked by Rivals.com as the No. 2 tight end in the nation. The six-foot-two, 198 pound freshman had 33 receptions for 526 yards and seven touchdowns as a senior at Westview High School.

Metoyer on the other hand is a five star wide receiver by Rivals.com in 2011 and was also ranked as the No. 2 wide receiver in the nation. The Whitehouse, Texas native spent last semester at Hargrave Military Academy in Chatham, Va. Metoyer finished his high school career with 259 receptions, the second-best total in Texas high school football history.

Kass Everett transferred to OU from Pierce College in Los Angeles. The Philadelphia native played defensive back there and earned first team Southern California Football Association honors in 2011. Everett played in seven games at Pierce College and compiled 25 tackles, three tackles for loss, five passes broken up and one fumble recovery. While in high school, he rushed for over 1,500 yards as a senior, eclipsing the 200-yard mark in four different games.

Another tight end for the Sooners is Brannon Green who transferred to OU from Fort Scott Community College. In 2011 Green was named to the All-Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference second team in 2011 after tallying 15 receptions for 213 yards in eight games.

Chaz Nelson, a defensive tackle, was named a NJCAA first team All-American and was also the 2011 Jayhawk Conference Defensive Player of the Year. Last season he recorded 96 tackles, 15.5 tackles for loss, 9.5 sacks, forced four fumbles, broke up four passes and returned an interception for a touchdown. In high school he spent his playing career at Beechcroft High School in Columbus, Ohio.

Finally, Jordan Wade is a member of the 2011 signing class. The Round Rock, Texas native is listed as a four-star recruit as well as the No. 8 defensive tackle by ESPN. The Stony Point High School product had 40 tackles and five sacks in the 2010 playing on the same defense as current Sooner P.L. Lindley. As a junior, Wade had 77 tackles, 14 sacks, two forced fumbles, one fumble recovery and six pass breakups.

The rest of the 2012 Sooner spring signing class will be announced on Wednesday, Feb. 1- the first day high school players can sign national letters of intent. Oklahoma will provide a live webcast that day as signings are announced and the OU coaching staff will be on hand to talk about the signing class.
