The Oklahoma State Cowboys rounded out the 2012 football recruiting class with two late additions in Austin Hays and Seth Jacobs.
The two additional signatures brings the Cowboys 2012 signing class to 24 with 15 players on offense and nine on defense.
Hays, a wide receiver from San Antonio's Reagan High School stands at 6-foot-2 and is 170 pounds. He was a Class 5A all-state selection by the San Antonio Express News and he was an all-district selection on a Reagan team that made an appearance in the quarterfinals of the state playoffs. He ended his senior season with 55 catches covering 1,060 yards with 14 touchdowns and an average of 19.9 yards per reception.
Jacobs on the other hand is a linebacker/safety from Arroyo Grande California. The 6-foot-2, 215 pound freshman is ranked by Scout.com as the nation's No. 27 prospects at outside linebacker.
Jacobs was an All-CIF (California Interscholastic Federation) and all-state selection (by Cal-Hi Sports) and the Southern Section Western Division defensive player of the year. He also earned All-CIF honors as a junior. Jacobs was a four-year starter and he capped his career with a 13-1 senior season.
