LOGAN COUNTY, Oklahoma -

Logan County deputies arrested a Coyle teacher and her husband Thursday on complaints of child neglect and drug possession.

The Oklahoma Department of Human Services (DHS) called deputies on February 2 after learning of an incident at the Guthrie Head Start program. An 11-month-old girl had arrived with a marijuana pipe in its diaper.

Deputies went to the home of Jesse and Jessica Renaker to follow up on the complaint and check on the child's welfare. Although Jessica Renaker told police she was a "Coyle school teacher," the superintendent of Coyle Public Schools said she does not work for the district, but is an employee of Coyle Head Start.

When deputies arrived, they found more than an ounce of marijuana and a handgun in the Renakers' home.

Deputies arrested the couple on complaints of child neglect, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, and possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia.

DHS took both children in the home into custody.
