The No. 6 Baylor Bears held a lead for the majority of the game, but had to hold off a late push from the depleted Oklahoma State Cowboys to come away with a 64-60 win Saturday, marking the Cowboys' sixth conference loss of the year.

Quincy Acy hit a buzzer-beating layup to give the Bears a 37-29 advantage heading into the locker room at halftime, but the Cowboys would not go away silently.

The Cowboys opened the second half firing, snapping off a 10-2 run in the first five minutes, eight coming from redshirt freshman Brian Williams, to tie the game 39-39. However, the Bears rattled off nine-consecutive points – capped by back-to-back three-pointers from Pierre Jackson – to take a 48-39 advantage five minutes later.

Baylor held a 50-41 advantage with eight minutes left to play, but Oklahoma State once again made a big push, running off a 16-6 advantage, capped by a three-pointer from Keiton Page, to take a 57-56 lead with 1:44 left to play, their first lead of the game.

However, Baylor scored the next six points to put the game away and come away with a win.

Williams finished with a game-high 23 points on a nine of 15 shooting performance, but turned the ball over four times in the loss. Page contributed 15 points, with Nash adding 11, but with just seven players suited, the Cowboys couldn't keep up.

Jackson and Perry Jones, III set the pace for Baylor, both contributing 16 points, with Jones adding in 11 rebounds for the Bears.

Oklahoma State will try to battle back to .500 on the season at 7 p.m. Tuesday at home against the Iowa State Cyclones at home.
