Tribal Chiefs Dedicate Tribal Flag Plaza In Miami, Oklahoma

It was a true Oklahoma Moment Wednesday morning, as chiefs from ten Indian nations dedicate their tribe's flags during a ceremony at Northeastern A&M College in Miami.

NEO students from each tribe, along with the tribe's chief, raised their flags at the college's Tribal Flag Plaza.

THE Cherokee Nation and all nine tribes in Ottawa County have flags at the plaza, which represents NEO's diversity and partnerships with tribal nations.
