Small Earthquake Reported In Central Oklahoma

OKLAHOMA CITY -

JONES, Oklahoma - A small earthquake was recorded near Jones, Oklahoma Tuesday night.

According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the 2.9 magnitude earthquake was recorded at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday. Its epicenter is about one mile south, southeast of Jones, four miles north of Choctaw, and 15 miles east, northeast of Oklahoma City.

It was about three miles deep.

No damage or injuries were reported in this earthquake.
