The spirit of New Orleans comes alive in downtown Tulsa.

A Mardi Gras parade rolled through the Blue Dome district Tuesday night, bringing with it floats, costumes--and of course--beads.

Mardi Gras began as a celebration of decadence before the ritual fasting of the Christian season of Lent.
