STILLWATER, Oklahoma – After a tough stretch, the Cowgirls finally got a bit of redemption.

In the midst of a four-game losing streak, OSU bounced back with a 71-63 victory against Iowa State on Saturday at Gallagher-Iba Arena.

Oklahoma State rode a huge night from Liz Donohoe, who put up 27 points on 10-of-21 shooting to go along with seven rebounds.

OSU's scoring was prolific but very focused, as only five Cowgirls scored at all in the game.

Tiffany Bias had 17, Lindsey Keller had 12 and Kendra Suttles had 11 for Oklahoma State.

And Toni Young had four points to join in as the only other Cowgirl to put points on the board. Young also added a team-high 12 rebounds.

The game went back and forth for a while but OSU soon found itself in an 11-point hole with five minutes remaining in the first half.

But it rallied to cut the lead down to just four by the break.

The Cowgirls didn't regain the lead until a 3-pointer from Liz Donohoe nearly eight minutes into the second gave her team a 48-47 margin.

From there, Oklahoma State managed to keep ISU at arm's length to move to 14-11 overall and 6-10 in Big 12 play. Iowa State dropped to 17-10 (8-8).

OSU will hit the road for its final regular season road game, heading to Kansas for a Wednesday night tip. The game is set to start at 7 p.m.
