Small Earthquake Reported Near Wellston

A small earthquake was recorded near Wellston, Oklahoma early Sunday morning.

According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the 2.6 magnitude earthquake was recorded at 3:15 a.m. Sunday. Its epicenter was about five miles southwest of Wellston, six miles east, southeast of Luther, and 27 miles east, northeast of Oklahoma City.

It was about three miles deep.

No injuries or damage were reported during this earthquake.
