Six in the Morning's LeAnne Taylor was busy Sunday afternoon slurping soup for a good cause.

LeAnne and the other competitors had to balance a hard-boiled egg on a spoon while walking down a red carpet, then slurp down a bowl of soup.

The effort was to raise awareness about next week's Souper Sunday.

"It's casual, come as you are, even though our decor may have a little red carpet, it's come as you are and enjoy, the soup, the breads, the deserts, the huge silent auction and the atmosphere," said Diana Higgins with Tulsa Source for Hearing Loss and Access.

Money raised goes to Total Source for Hearing Loss and Access. The Tulsa Area United Way organization helps the deaf and hard of hearing.

LeAnne says she did not win the competition.
