Quapaw Woman Charged With Toddler's Death

A 20-year-old Quapaw woman is in the Ottawa County jail charged with first degree murder in the death of a child.

Skye Reece turned herself in late Wednesday morning.

The charge stems from the death of 15-month-old Lanceton Hollenbeck on February 12, 2012. Reece lived with the toddler's father in Quapaw.

Hollenbeck was flown by medical helicopter to a Tulsa hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation is working the case at the request of the Ottawa County District Attorney's office.

Reece is being held without bond.
