TULSA, Oklahoma -

Investigators say she was killed more than a decade ago and a thousand miles away.  But Tulsa police may finally be able to solve the cold case.

They're searching for the body of 4-year-old Ashani Creighton near 61st Street and Mingo Avenue.

Sheriff's deputies in Florida developed a lead -- that her remains were brought to Tulsa and buried behind a house in 1999.

Problem is, a lot has changed since then.

"That house has been torn down; a new structure was built: a shopping center and a parking lot behind it," Deputy Tulsa Police Chief Dennis Larsen said.

Special teams came from all over to help, using ground-penetrating radar to search for the body.
